Protecting Your Energy

One of the most talked about topics when I do readings, is the concept of energetic hygiene. 

 

Many people are empaths aka they deeply feel how others around them feel, absorbing these external feelings and mistaking them as their own. I see this come up for my Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces friends (for sun, moon, rising, and/or north/south node) + those with 3+ planets in the 4, 8, and/or 12th houses!

Today can feel quite intense for some people so here are my top 3 tips for energetic cleansing and hygiene.

 

Don't look at your phone at the start of the day. Do something for yourself. Set an intention! When you immediately look at your phone, you're signaling to yourself that you're deprioritizing your needs. So something for yourself first! Try to limit your phone time in the evening as well for more restful sleep.

 

Do a bubble meditation to protect your energy. Especially if you have a day filled with meetings, interact with a lot of people, and/or are in caretaking roles. You can do this throughout the day to reset your energy. 

 

️ Move your body. Do some stretching or jumping jacks if you're feeling weird or had a hard conversation. Shake off the bad vibes. 

 

These are some of the ways you can ground from within so you can cultivate a sense of stability from the inside out instead of feeling like external circumstances are taking hold of you.
