Setting Intentions and Manifesting with Daily Journaling

I find journaling very cathartic. I also use it as a tool for my spiritual and personal development. I start each year by writing what I think will happen each month. I write in the past tense to get into how it will feel. It's like a roadmap to my year. If you've downloaded the Manifestation for 2020 workbook, you've done it too! It's always a great reminder to reference throughout the year to see if I'm "on-track." (Side note: We are always where we need to be!)

What I haven't tried is incorporating a version of this into my daily routine. The mind is constantly racing with thoughts. It is our job to be aware of those thoughts and understand if they are serving us or we need to release them. But sometimes this gets tough. We get stuck in a negative thought loop and then maybe a spiral! We all have those days, weeks, or months! I know I do.

For this entire month, I've decided to "script" each morning. Doesn't need to be long, but it's part of my daily morning ritual now. I write down how the day went, adding in details. Almost like you wrote this journal entry at the end of the day but you've flip-flopped it to the beginning of the day.

Why is this powerful? It sets the tone for the day. It anchors you. You are actively creating your reality and programming your day!

If you're rolling your eyes, try it and see if it will get you into a different headspace, a different frequency. If you want to do this with me for the month of July, DM me on Instagram! I want to hear how it goes for you.

So far I’ve been able to be more focused and I noticed my mood is better. I’m living more intentionally and enjoying each day. I’ve gotten back into a routine and I look forward to my morning journaling sessions. My actions are more aligned and I’ve gotten many new opportunities pop-up. It’s put a positive lens to my day.
